Home Plate is a charitable organization founded for the purpose of providing housing (or in many cases home repairs) and meals to individuals and families in need. home plate's focus is on meeting those two most basic needs (food and shelter) for our own families in the United States. Although we don't hold ourselves out as strictly a Christian organization we believe in serving others through our actions not our words and this organization is inspired by Matthew 25:35. We do serve the King of Kings but he is also the Servant of servants, and we hope to reflect His love to those in need through our giving.
